The Right Way to Choose a Web Analytics Solution
September 25th, 2006
As someone who has selected web analytics solutions for multiple companies, with different budgets, requirements, and in different years, I feel I have a good grasp of the process of picking a web analytics solution.
It is through experiencing much pain and frustration that I wholly recommend throwing the normal process aside and using the strategy outlined by Avinash Kaushik in his post on How To Choose a Web Analytics Tool.
If you follow that process you’ll have a much better chance of making the right decision, you’ll be able to educate your co-workers easier, and you’ll get data flowing faster. All of those things are positives in my book.
