Ranking Web Analytics Blogs
June 13th, 2006
In what is kind of an ironic activity based on the topic, Avinash Kaushik has attacked the somewhat difficult task of choosing which metrics and analytics to use in which to measure what the top blogs are based on the topic of web analytics.
In the end, he settled on Technorati ranking, but was smart enough to point out what the problems are with using it as the sole ranking metric.
Amazingly the results show this blog as #1 in the field, which is another sign that using Technorati ranking alone is probably not the best way to measure, as I know there are some other web analytics blogs which have more authority in the industry than this blog.
Regardless of any rankings, I’m glad to see ConversionRater.com is getting links from other sites, and it inspires me to create more web analytics content.
