I’ve never done any posts talking about the statistics of this blog because I’ve found that I’ve been turned off with certain bloggers who post about their blog stats a little bit too often.
However, this is a blog that talks about web analytics, so it seems as if it’s more relevant in this case. Anyway, I really started writing this blog actively in November of last year. It looks like it took about 11 months to crack the 500 subscriber mark for my RSS feed. This blog is focused in nature and doesn’t appeal to the widest blog reading audience, but I’m happy to have hit the 500 subscriber mark.
ConversionRater.com has also managed to fluctuate around in the top 100,000 of Alexa, but looking at the Alexa graph there’s never really been any improvement since I initially got it going.
That’s not a good sign, but I’m encouraged by the RSS subscriber count continuing to grow. In Technorati it’s currently at 21.262, although at one point it had cracked the top 10,000.
One thing I didn’t do very well was set any solid goals for this blog when I launched it. It was more for the purpose of talking about things I’m interested in and participating in the medium. When it hits the one-year anniversary in November, I think ‘it’s time for some actionable goals I can work towards and have an incentive to reach by making them public.
Thanks for being a reader and participating, hopefully I can continue to improve the content.
