Google Analytics Opens to the Public

August 16, 2006 10:09 am / 1 Comment / Pat McCarthy

After a long invite-only period, Google Analytics has announced they are open to the public.

Hopefully they can handle the influx of users and don’t have the same crashes and latency issues they did when they initially launched.

For bloggers, I’d still recommend using one of the blog-specific analytics packages like Performancing Metrics, Blogbeat.net, or Measuremap.

But for normal websites, or ecommerce websites, Google Analytics is the best free application I’ve seen yet.
