Use a third party business verification.

I use trust seals from Merchant-Safe.com and my sales went up by 16% on the first month and 12% on the second month.

On an average many people say they get 15%.

I agree with Steven, trust seals work well.

We have split tested many however make sure you get an SSL certificate too from Verisign or Godaddy.

For our SSL certificates we use Godaddy and for our third party accreditation we use feedbackranking.com

Never under estimate third party accreditation, this can double your sales and it only takes 5 minutes to put the icon on a site

I actually found merchantsafe.org while looking to learn about safe shopping online. Merchant Safe trust seals give you a quick hike in conversion. I have a small web hosting company and mainly reselling server space. This is a highly competitive market and I really needed to get every single bit that I can out of my ad dollars.

I have both privacy seal and Merchant Safe seal and about 15% jump in sales over 4 months. I think it is very decent. The best part – they give you free coverage about your site with incoming links from their directory..
