Google Payments: No Surprise

February 27, 2006 2:09 am / 1 Comment / Pat McCarthy

Google has commented on their official blog about where they are headed with Google Payments.

It’s not surprising that as they continue to roll out more services they’ll start integrating more payment options through Google, and eventually probably have a solid competitor to Paypal.

As Greg Yardley notes, I think that competition would be a good thing. Paypal has positives, but it also has negatives and hasn’t really had a serious competitor.

Although I must note, I’m not really a privacy freak, but I am starting to wonder if I really want all my online activity under the Google roof.
