Feedback On Google Analytics
January 15th, 2006
Google Analytics has been out for a few months now, so plenty of people should have gotten the chance to run it through it’s paces and get a feel for it. Problogger asks if people are finding Google Analytics to be helpful.
Reading therough the comments, you see a mix of people who are getting benefit from it, but about 50% seem to find it too clunky or they prefer a different “simpler” stats application.
I found these results interesting, because I think Google Analytics is simpler than most of the advanced and more expensive web applications, and the value for the price (free) is pretty darn good.
I think the lesson to be learned though is that there is always a HUGE market for things that are very simple and easy to use that only provide a few basic core features.
