Top Ten Web 2.0 Moments of 2005

I agree with most of the stuff on his list, but I don’t think that a conference about Web 2.0 is really worth being in the #1 spot. While conferences have some value, and perhaps it summarized everything in some ways, I don’t think the rise and growth of Web 2.0 would have been slowed much hat that conference never happened.

Had AJAX never happened, things would be different. Had Yahoo not acquired Flickr and del.icio.us things would be different.

But a conference?
