Here Comes Google Calendar

December 6, 2005 1:22 am / Leave a Comment / Pat McCarthy

Apparently Google is supposed to launch a calendar product today.

Does anyone care? I don’t anticipate having the need for any kind of public calendar, but I’ve been wrong about things like this in the past.

The article brings up the bigger question though, will Google support SSE (Simple Sharing Extensions) for two-way communication with the calendar? If not, will they ever? It’s one of the prime applications SSE seems to be a good fit for.

Let’s see what Google has up their sleeves with their calendar. And anyone who says they aren’t a portal still is crazy.
