Web 2.0 Explained

November 21, 2005 2:44 pm / Leave a Comment / Pat McCarthy

Not much I can say about this great analysis of Web 2.0 and what it means.

I thought this quote was a good point though:

Google doesn’t try to force things to happen their way. They try to figure out what’s going to happen, and arrange to be standing there when it does.

I think that sums up “Web 2.0” nicely. Basically, businesses and programmers are getting smart and realizing it’s best to let users decide what they want the web to be like, now what companies think it should be like.
