A Solid Marketplace Concept

November 18, 2005 2:18 pm / Leave a Comment / Pat McCarthy

News of Root.net has hit the media world as seen in a recent article in Clickz as well as more information in a post on CEO Seth Goldstein’s blog.

Working for a company that focuses on fixing inefficiencies in an industry to benefit both advertisers and publishers, I can see a lot of value in Root.net working to do a similar thing in the lead generation field. It should be interesting to watch how their marketplace progresses and evolves. I’ve long believed that publishers could be generating more revenue through leads if they had an easy way to make those leads available in a marketplace instead of having to find the companies to buy those leads.
